About Us
Our partnership was formed in 2003 and soon after came the concept for a children’s activity warehouse in Worcester.
Worcester was chosen by default as one of us is from the Forest of Dean and the other from Wolverhampton. Worcester is therefore half way and an easy commute to both.
We have been planning ‘Little Acorns’ as it is now known, for over 4 years. Finding the ideal premises proved to be more difficult than we first thought!
Quite by chance and only a few months after giving up we happened upon an abandoned gym on Bromyard Road. This is the premises we now occupy.
We live to the north of Worcester just a few minutes from junction 7 of the M5 and have three children between us, as well as an abundance of nieces and nephews. It is because of this mass of young children that we originally came up with the idea of ‘Little Acorns’.
We like to think that we understand children and the way they play and this knowledge has played a major part in the design of the playframe. The playframe is being built and installed by the Softbrick company one of the countries leading and oldest playframe manufacturers. They have been a fantastic support and have worked closely with us to get Little Acorns to where it is today.
We are very proud of Little Acorns and the facility it offers to the community of Worcester, a city we are glad to be a part of. We look forward to welcoming the young families, schools and associations of Worcester and hope that you all enjoy our facilities.
